Veterinary Caregiver • Foster Advocate • Senior Animal Soft SpotTherese was born and raised in Southern California before moving to New Jersey for college. After grad school, she made her way to Roanoke with her four bunnies and two guinea pigs. She works full-time at Emergency Veterinary and Specialty Services and is currently working toward her LVT license.

Cat Lover • Rescue Mom • Toebean Kitty AdvocateChristina's love for animals started early, nurtured by nature shows like Growing Up Wild, The Kratt Brothers, Zoboomafoo, and The Crocodile Hunter. She discovered her love for cats after she and her mom adopted their first cat, Tangelo — and from that moment, she was completely smitten.

Coffee Nerd • Barista • Roanoke LocalGabe is our resident coffee nerd, lifelong Roanoke local, and proud cat dad to Freya, Tater, Loktar, and Boo. When he's not crafting the perfect brew at The Toebean Cat Café, he dreams of opening his own café one day.
Marcie
Resident Weirdo • Dark Humor Specialist • Definitely Not AIMarcie is, in fact, a real human being who works at The Toebean Cat Café. She enjoys long walks on the beach, piña coladas, getting caught in the rain, Mama Jean's BBQ, and being wonderfully weird.
